BRAIN. Broad Research in Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience was established in January 2010 to publish cutting-edge research focused on the brain and artificial intelligence. The journal emphasizes multidisciplinary studies that explore the emulation of human brain functions through AI methods, neuroscientific approaches to understanding the brain, the treatment of psychiatric disorders, and the application of AI in diverse fields such as health, medicine, life sciences, and cognitive sciences.

BRAIN Journal operates as an open-access platform dedicated to disseminating the latest scientific findings on the brain, consciousness, and their connections with artificial intelligence. The journal actively supports innovation and research across health, medicine, life sciences, and cognitive science. Its primary areas of focus include:

Initially edited and published by EduSoft, the journal's administration was transferred to Lumen in 2019. Following the conclusion of the contract with Lumen in August 2024, the editorial and publishing responsibilities for Issue 3 of Volume 15 (2024) reverted to EduSoft. Through its multidisciplinary approach, BRAIN Journal continues to foster the integration of neuroscience and artificial intelligence to advance understanding and improve the human condition.

Editorial Board

The new editorial board of BRAIN journal is composed of esteemed researchers and experts from a diverse range of fields, including neuroscience, psychiatry, psychology, artificial intelligence, and deep learning. This multidisciplinary team ensures that the journal maintains its high standards of scholarly excellence, bridging the gap between cognitive sciences and advanced computational methods.
